Sunday 1
Happy New Year! Please pray that God would touch thousands of FEBC listeners
in Russia and help them commit their lives to Him. Also pray that FEBC's
coverage in Russia will improve.
Monday 2
Please pray for Rudi Wiens, FEBC RM's
director. Rudi and his wife Anni were involved in a serious car accident on
November 19.
Anni sustained several broken bones. Rudi's injuries were more complicated.
He suffered trauma to his face, as well as other injuries. He has had two
surgeries. Pray for complete
restoration of their health. Also, pray for their four daughters.
Tuesday 3
Mikhail and Zinaida from Siberia write, "Our daughter has a lot of problems
in her family, but she refuses to listen to FEBC radio. She says that she
will resolve her problems by herself. Pray that she would humble herself and
seek God's help. She needs salvation."
Wednesday 4
Please pray for Russian president Putin. He is trying to gain more control
over non-profit organizations in Russia. Pray that FEBC radio ministry will
not suffer as a result of new laws he is supporting.
Thursday 5
"My mother is 78 years old. She is a product of the Communist system and has
a hard time believing in God. However, she listens to your radio, and I
believe she will open her heart to Jesus one day. Please pray for my
mother." Olga from Ulyanovsk.
Friday 6
Millions of Russian teenagers experiment with drugs. Thousands die every
year. Please pray that FEBC's broadcasts will save many teenagers and help
them live productive, happy lives with Jesus Christ as their role model.
Saturday 7
On this day Russians celebrate Christmas. Pray that FEBC programmers will be
able to reach many through the special Christmas
programming.
Sunday 8
"We work with children of alcoholic parents and have seen some very
difficult cases. They love to listen to your children's programs. Please
pray that many of them will be saved." Tatyana from Nizhnevartovsk.
Monday 9
Please pray for FEBC broadcasters in St. Petersburg, where FEBC's audience
is
growing. "We are doing all we can to reach the unchurched, and we need your
prayer support," explains Dennis Kozlov, one of FEBC programmers there. Pray
that more and more unbelievers will become our listeners and accept Christ.
Tuesday 10
Please pray for evangelistic meetings scheduled to be held in Bishkek, the
capital of Kyrgyzstan. FEBC broadcasts to Kyrgyzstan in both the Russian and
Kyrgyz languages. Pray that many will be saved.
Wednesday 11
Statistically, for every 100 births in Russia 120 abortions are performed.
FEBC programmers promote abortion alternatives. Pray that many unborn lives
will be spared.
Thursday 12
Please pray for Pastor Alexey Sofeev who is one of FEBC's volunteer
broadcasters in Novosibirsk. Pray that his programs will draw many to Christ
and into his church.
Friday 13
Gleb Ilinski, an FEBC programmer from
St. Petersburg, asks us to pray for his wife Uliya. She is expecting a baby
in February 2006.
Saturday 14
Please pray that FEBC Russian Ministries will acquire adequate finances to
improve its
antennas in Moscow and offer better coverage. Pray that many more people in
Moscow and neighboring cities will be able to tune into Christian
programming.
Sunday 15
Praise God for FEBC Russian Ministries' switch to satellite broadcasting.
Now more stations throughout Russia and neighboring countries will be able
to retransmit the signal. Pray that FEBC will be able to open several new FM
stations in smaller cities throughout Russia.
Monday 16
Please pray for Irina Chernova, FEBC programmer in Moscow and director of
FEBC news center. The center exists to highlight the positive news about
evangelicals in Russia. Secular press is rarely fare to evangelicals,
portraying them as "foreign sects" or "cults."
Tuesday 17
Ludmila Paliy, FEBC programmer in Chernovtsy, Ukraine, is asking for prayer
for Viktor Yushenko, Ukraine president, as well as his new cabinet. Pray
that Ukraine will soon become a democratic and flourishing country that
adheres to Christian values.
Wednesday 18
"I am a divorced woman, but I have no choice but to live in the same
apartment as my husband. I am now a Christian, but he hates everything about
Christianity: he verbally abuses me and my faith, throws out Christian
literature that I have, screams at me
Please pray for me and for him."

Thursday 19
Pray for Sergey Fomenko, FEBC RM's leader who is overseeing not only Russian
stations, but also a new ministry project in Kazakhstan. Pray for Sergey. He
is dealing with ministry and
family issues; his wife Irina is recovering from a serious illness.
Friday 20
Leonid from Khabarovsk writes, "I never really thought about God before I
began listening to your programs. Now my life is changing. Please pray for
me."
Saturday 21
"Please pray for my grandson. I believe that his new friends are using
drugs," Anna from Novosibirsk writes. Pray for Anna's grandson and for
thousands of other Russian teens who are experimenting with drugs.
Sunday 22
Yuri from Somakovo is a disabled vet. He is
disappointed in life, and does not trust anybody. However, he recently
learned about FEBC radio from missionaries and became an avid listener. Pray
that God will save Yuri.
Monday 23
Pray for Nickolai Sidenko, who is recording youth radio programs in
Khabarovsk. Pray that many young people will be drawn to the Lord through
his programs.
Tuesday 24
FEBC listener Petr writes, "I live in the small town of Semichuki in Central
Russia. Please pray that God will send capable missionaries to our town. At
this time we depend on your broadcasts."
Wednesday 25
"My mother and I listen to your programs together. You fill our lives with
faith. Please
pray for our financial situation; we are poor." Vladimir from Moldova.
Thursday 26
Marina from Novosibirsk writes, "I am unemployed. Please pray for me." We
receive many requests like these from the unchurched. Pray for Marina to
find a job and to find her Savior.
Friday 27
Recently, three more people visited Christian drug rehab centers promoted by
FEBC programs in Khabarovsk. Pray for these young people.
Saturday 28
"I am your regular listener. I ask you to please pray for my family. I am
the only believer, and I am 19." Maxim from Moscow.
Sunday 29
Alexandr from Tokmakl writes: "I am your regular listener. I use your
programs to share the gospel with others. Thank you for equipping me for the
Lord's work." Pray for Alexandr to bring many to faith.
Monday 30
Alexandr Anisimov, an FEBC broadcaster from St. Petersburg, says: "Please
pray for my mother. She is very ill and needs God's healing. My Mom always
supported me in my radio
ministry."
Tuesday 31
Please pray for Anna, an FEBC listener, who is a lonely elderly woman. Her
legatees want to place her in a state retirement facility and take her
possessions. Please pray that God would
protect Anna. "FEBC radio is my only friend," she says.
