Organizational Structure and History

1. Administrative Structure of FEBC Russian Ministries

All Russian fields have one and the same Board of Directors. Fluency in Russian language and understanding of the culture is a requirement for all members of the Russian Board of Directors.

There is an agreement to the following basic principles:

The operation of all Russian FEBC centers should be conducted on the autonomous basis, however, in a close network with other FEBC offices in programming and other projects, especially, when there is a territorial overlap. All FEBC centers throughout the CIS are known in the Russian language as Radio Teos or Radiotserkov.

Financial subsidies and other help between FEBC centers is a matter of the agreement between the involved groups. The Russian Board of Directors has no administrative responsibility of the day to day activity in this regard, except in cases of serious challenges.

2. Some History of FEBC Russian Ministries

1949-1992: Short wave broadcast from the Philippines to Russia
1957-present: AM broadcast from Korea to Russia
1980-1992: Short wave broadcast from San Francisco to Russia
1984-present: Short wave broadcast from Saipan to Russia
Febr.1992: FEBC Russian Ministries was incorporated in Khabarovsk, Russia
Febr.1992: FEBC Russian Ministries started the weekly progr. on the MAYAK radio network 
Mar.1992: Beginning of local broadcast from Khabarovsk on AM and local network
Sept.1992: Groundbreaking for the office/studio building in Khabarovsk
April 1993: Beginning of local broadcast in Novosibirsk
Nov.1993: Music studio in Chernovtsy, West Ukraine
Febr.1994: Beginning of program production in Gorlovka, East Ukraine
Sept.1995: Beginning of program production in Slavyansk, East Ukraine
Oct. 1996: Beginning of program production in Chita
